Time for some more pictures… This time: The new kitchen!

not really… but sometimes the weekend, when you look at it in retrospect, seems like a whole week, because you’ve got so much stuff done.
One of these things was not blogging, since I had so much stuff to do. On friday I got the second stroke of paint on the livingroom and bedroom roof, before Posten came and delivered the new kitchen. Watching the Posten guys backing up a truck up to our door was quite an experience in itself. Then we got the rest of the kitchen furniture down.
Then, on saturday morning, which by the way was an extraordinary morning, with weather we rarely see in this city.
Cold, with crisp snow and partial sunlight.
On saturday we had whats in norwegian is called “dugnad” (which by a funny sidenote is translated “hard work” by google translate), where friends of ours came over and helped us with painting, and removing the several layers of floor in the kitchen.
We got more done on saturday than we had expected, we got a single layer of paint in the hall, and prepared for the pinegreen paint we painted on the lower half of the hall walls on sunday.
On sunday my mother visited and lended us her car for the next few weeks. That will make the moving process a lot easier.
